"SuperTruck" is a 1978 Dodge 3/4 ton ClubCab with 1 ton suspension. It has a 1980 grill and headlights and the scoop is an original Mopar dual snorkle off a 340 A body car.
It is an original 400ci big block truck, but high miles and my right foot combined for a dropped valve while racing on the Freeway. The valve went through the piston and the head, but the old beast still managed to make it all the way home. Now that's RAM TOUGH!
SuperTruck then got a new life. The 400 was thrown out, and a 440 "HP" was thrown in, with a healthy cam, headers, tunnel ram, and two Holley center float carbs. New dual exhaust with a crossover and Sonic Turbo mufflers let the engine breath. With the Dana 60 and it's 4.10 gears, the truck hauls in more ways than one!
SuperTruck can now break the tires loose at 20mph, and pulls hard with or without cargo.
